Adventures Await! Whether you choose to stick close to the charming town of Lake City or if above timberline is more your style, this property is the perfect home base for you. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail while gazing at the majestic mountain view from the wrap around deck or through the picture windows.

With hiking and ATV trails accessible from the doorstep, this home is perfectly located for all your off-roading, hiking, fishing, relaxing and more mountain adventures. This light and airy log home features a cozy wrap-around porch, plenty of parking for your toys, comfortable furnishings, WiFi, ping-pong and foosball tables, and plenty of games to give your vacation that extra special touch of comfort and enjoyment.

The completely furnished kitchen includes pots, pans, standard small appliances and table service to make you feel at home away from home. All bed and bath linens are provided, so just bring your groceries and personal care items, such as bath soap and shampoo, to complete your stay.

Beds are wonderfully comfy. The master bedroom with a king size bed is upstairs in one side of the open loft area with a seating area and queen sofa sleeper in the other. Downstairs is two separate bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a double and twin bunkbed. The living room also offers a queen sofa sleeper to give our guests as many options as they may need. Each bedroom offers a smart TV as does the living room. Just sign into your personal account to access any streaming apps to which you are subscribed.

Wildlife is abundant and you will most likely see deer in the yard routinely. You may also see elk and even bear on the property from time to time.

The town of Lake City offers many fun shops, restaurants, museums and even a park for the littles. Whether you are wanting a fun meal out or shopping and an ice cream stop, you are sure have a great small town experience.

As frequent travelers ourselves, we look forward to making your stay pleasant and unforgettable. Are you ready to make your next mountain memories?

Christmas in Lake City

This is a beautiful property that was accommodating for our needs! I would like to thank the host Katie. She was very responsive and quick to answer any question I had! I would recommend this property to anyone interested in staying in Lake City! The wildlife is plentiful too! Would definitely stay there again!

Amazing Family Getaway

In the overwhelming busy world that our family holds and all living in separate states we decided to meet in our home state of Colorado for a long weekend of side by side and Jeep adventures. Everyone in our party was so impressed with the cabin upon our arrival and departure. The views were amazing! Katie was such an amazing help and wealth of knowledge about Lake City. The only "negative" we may of has was some of the furniture was dated and could use an upgrade at some point. All in all, this place is 5 out of 5 and most definitely plan to stay here again next year as the planning is in the work.

Great location

My family of four stayed at this property and it was a great homebase location for our daytime ventures in Hinsdale and Gunnison counties. The home is very close to the Country Market and Lake City Bakery and less than a 5 minute drive to downtown Lake City. The check-in process was easy and the home was clean, well-stocked, fast-internet, great porches, convenient location, and great views. The Master/King Bedroom is upstairs in the open loft and the two bedrooms downstairs share a bath and were convenient for small children. The garage has been converted into a game room with a ping pong table and a foosball table.

Lake City Vacation

Perfect mountain cabin

The cabin was so much more than advertised! Truly "fully furnished!" Beautiful views of the mountains. We woke up to elk in the yard 3 of the 5 days we stayed there. It was the cleanest house I've ever rented. One of my boys locked us out of the house and we had to call the homeowner who had her cleaning lady at the house within 10 mins to help us get in. Very responsive and extremely helpful owner. Will definitely stay again.
