"We came just to get away for the weekend and had the most wonderful time! This was exactly the home-away-from-home we were looking for. We were warm, comfortable, and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The beds were comfortable, the shower was hot and spacious, and the kitchen had all the equipment we needed to prep and cook all of our meals. JD was so nice and very responsive when we contacted him and we can't wait to come back in the spring!"

"We live in a similar cozy house in the woods, and we felt right at home in the Snowshoe Cabin! Everything we needed was there. The seclusion was wonderful. I couldn’t imagine staying in a hotel when this option is available. A bit out of town, but absolutely worth the drive to get out of the din and garish lights of town!"

"What a charming cabin! It was very welcoming. I greatly appreciated the instructions that were texted to us, and that were left in the cabin. That was very helpful. "We had the best time spending weekend in the house. Check in process was very smooth, house is so clean and feels new. "We hosted our daughter's wedding nearby and rented this vrbo for cousins and friends so they could be together. It was absolutely perfect! House was immaculate and nicely decorated. "You need to be pretty outdoorsy for this one. No easy access to lake but you have a lake view. Water is sketchy. Outhouse is clean. Very tiny, old trailer. Water is supplied by a 2 gallon jug with a spigot. Clouds of misquitoes but that might be common for the area. Very rugged road into property. OK for the hardy."
