"Super close to the beach, very nice staff! Some amenities felt outdated, the lights were confusing to the windows. Overall, a nice stay!"

"Great amenities, great rooms, great location."

"Schöne Anlage, toll gelegen und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Alles war sauber und sehr gepflegt. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben. Obwohl das Motel an einer viel befahrenen Straße liegt, konnten wir hervorragend schlafen. Zu Fuß kann man schön zum Pier oder auch bis nach Venice Beach laufen. Tolle Gegend! Kaffee und Tee gibt es im Office."

"Overall, the location is great and the hotel is very nice. The rooftop is the best in Venice. Hotel Erwin is the best hotel in Venice. The problem which is totally unacceptable is that the fire alarm went off the first morning at 6 am and again the 2nd night at 2 am and both were false alarms. They were ear piercing ways to wake up. Went on for at least 15-20 minutes. Needless to say, I will never be staying at Hotel Erwin again. I felt like I was back at my freshman dorm in college."

"There was no elevator. I had heavy bags. My wife and I are in our 70's. It was a struggle. Room small. Little room for bags. Were supposed to get a room with two queens. Our room had a single and a double."

"Parking expensive , hotel clean, food good, front desk rep I believe her name was Stacy or Tracy very nice ."

"Very kind and professional agents at the front desk . The room was great . Clean and beautiful view ."

"Front Desk Staff lack Hospitality. Unfriend, Rude and non helpful. I was never told upon check in about complimentary breakfast which I paid for where it was held . Also, when asked , if there was coffee available , I was told.. ummmm, In your room. I love this hotel and location, but the staff needs some manners. Now, I know and wont have to bother them again. DM"

"The gentleman at the desk was very nice and helpful. We had room 4 and it was great to see out the window to the ocean. The room has all the basics you need. The easy beach access is amazing. Restaurants and entertainment are at walking distance. There’s some things that probably should be updated, but I would definitely stay here again."

"The property was perfect - We really enjoyed the restaurant and the amazing food along with the amentias offered bikes etc.. The rooms were spacious and clean - great location as well."
