"The business is no longer a going concern, no staff, fire risks, lack of lighting in public areas, on-line advertising is totally misleading (outdated). One has to feel for the poor Landlord trying in vain to keep going."

"El hotel no tiene ascensor, es incómodo el acceso para personas con movilidad reducida. Las imágenes de la habitación al hacer la reserva en la web no correspondían con la habitación definitiva. En ese sentido muy decepcionada; optas por un hotel por unas características que al final no corresponden con la realidad. Es entonces cuando la calidad/precio no están equilibradas."

"Didn't see he host at all during my stay. Although there were no issues, I knew if I needed them they were a phone call away. The room was well equipped with a bath and shower, kettle, hair dryer, towels etc. Very comfortable and quiet. I dropped something out of my pocket and as I was looking for it, seen that under the furniture was covered in dust accompanied by a spider on my towels. I was a little freaked at this, but it's the country. It's to be expected. "

"Wonderful stay at Glebe Farm. We stayed in the separate annexe which is finished to a high standard with everything we needed and a lovely thoughtful welcome pack including fresh eggs from their chickens and home baked shortbread. Thank you to our excellent hosts Tim and Sheila. South Pool is a beautiful quiet village with a very nice pub. "

"Really friendly staff (especially the breakfast lady!) and a great location. I probably should have researched first to spot live music on Friday and Saturday evenings. That wasn’t that much of an issue as over by 22.30 (both bands were pretty good to be fair) but the rowdy hen party on Saturday kept us awake long after the band had finished. "

"Very quiet hamlet near the river Avon estuary as it discharges into the English channel so very pretty setting. Close to Burgh Island which I could just see the top of from my upstairs bedroom window. Very plain inside the pub; lovely friendly staff; had a main evening meal, not particularly good, very dry fish pie which had been microwaved to death and the following day all three of us had a dicky stomach and the runs. Streptococci no doubt. Over cooked poached eggs for breakfast but...
