The Globe Inn is a classic, old english pub. It is welcoming, as are the owner and the staff. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and have everything that you would need for a stay. It is also conveniently located for access to the coast, and local attractions such as Burgh Island and Salcombe.

Everything was great. Shame they didn’t have a chef so no food available but we knew that before we arrived so wasn’t a problem. We’re quite happy to give us plates etc to eat food we’d taken in

The room was pleasant enough and fine for the money. The downside was not having food available at the inn. It would have made it an excellent choice if pub food was an option and it is actually quite inconvenient to not get a breakfast.

Such well maintained Inn. Glad I booked here and would happily rebook next time I come to this location for work. Despite having a pub downstairs it was very quite and the rooms were well maintained. Only downside was the kitchen has now permanently closed. Which is a shame but we understand the owner's reasons and the local area has other food options you can use.

We booked this hotel very last minute and it was one of the few left available in the area. The staff were lovely although the manager was less so helpful and rather lazy! Rooms were clean but very tired and need a complete update including the plumbing where water drains so slowly from the sink and the toilet flush almost impossible to do! They no longer do any sort of food which is a shame as the website shows a dining area and people enjoying the menu. The atmosphere was zero in the evening (we were out all day) although I understand they have bands perform there occasionally. It’s a shame it’s so dead but at least we had a good nights sleep in clean and well made beds each night. A lick of paint and black out blinds would’ve made the bedroom so much better. We will not be returning here.
