Condo includes full size washer and dryer as well as a large flat screen TV. Located on one of the best beaches in Maui. Just two miles from Old Lahaina Town, and a short walk to the local farmers market, this is the perfect location. Enjoy shopping at Whalers Village, whale watching poolside, or firing up the BBQ for some ocean view dining. Free long distance calls to US Mainland and Canada. **Guests and residents enjoy the especially serene and quiet atmosphere at Hale Mahina; as such, group bookings are discouraged and house rules are strictly enforced at all times.**

~ Kitchen Remodeled March 6 to April 19, 2019 ~ Enjoyed a lovely stay at Mindy's place. It was an excellent value and appreciated renting a full condo at an intimate complex instead of staying in a bedroom at a big resort. Liked walking directly out to the pool and beach from the lanai -- benefit of being on the first floor. I strolled to the farmers market and local fish market for food on occasion. And sat on the beach most days and read a nice book. People were friendly yet kept to themselves which I loved. ~ Suzanne M.

Great stay at beautiful place, but property not clean upon arrival

Overall we had a great stay at this beautiful property, however, when we arrived for our check in at 3 pm the place was not clean, and there was no cleaning crew around. There was trash in all of the rooms, the beds weren't made, food left in the kitchen, and it was just all around messy. We were never able to get a response from the host through VRBO messaging, but we were able to text then number they supplied and eventually got a cleaning crew there. We had to wait around a few hours though to move into the place that afternoon, much later than we had hoped due, which was disappointing. Other than that we had a great stay though, the place is really beautiful and right on the beach and the pool was lovely.

Beautiful

Everything was as described. We thought not having air conditioning would be an issue and it never got really hot in our room because of the cross breeze. There was an issue with noise (being on the ground floor and in front of the elevator) we didn't anticipate. Ear plugs were an easy remedy.

Right on the beach

Wonderful stay, great location with magnificent view of ocean from both kitchen and lanai. Well appointed condo unit, ground floor, right on the beach. Very minor detractions, car noise at night from the street near bedroom and lumpy mattress.
