"We come to the Blue Bear Hideout every year for our family reunion. The place is perfect to fit a group and has everything you can think of to have a good time. We spend all our time in the garage - what a blast! Highly recommend “Garage Pong” for those that are not skilled ping pong players and end up hitting the ball off the garage floor most of the time. Jenny is great and very easy to communicate with. We will be back again next year!"

"Great place for large families. Beautiful wooded area, swimming pool about a mile from the house. Nice lakes to walk around. Big yard for family fun! We enjoyed our stay and family time together."

"House is very cool! Location is perfect for decent privacy and a woodsy feel! We had a fire outside every night and loved it! Communication about check in and check out was easy and as expected. Unfortunately, cleanliness is a major issue when it comes to bedding and dishes. I had to strip the beds and go by laundry detergent to wash sheets. There was hair and other debris on the sheets in the master bedroom. I did not contact the owner about this, as it would have been more of an inconvenience...

"Very nice property, good location for both accessing Traverse City and the Leelanau peninsula. Good communication from host, clear instructions. Cottage was very clean but the living room furniture had a clear noticeable dog smell. Wifi worked fine, but no local tv reception (streaming was fine). Very satisfied, no other complaints."
