This house comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms, each designed as a private suite with its own entrance and en-suite bathroom. All bedrooms feature a king-size bed with a Custom Comfort mattress and premium Parachute linens, ensuring a restful stay.

Essentials - Parking is available for 4 vehicles. The home is equipped with energy-efficient mini-split heat pump air conditioning units for heating and cooling, powered by a 9.0 kW solar panel system. Guest Access:
You will have the entire house and property to yourself. Only registered guests are allowed, unless specifically agreed upon during the booking process.
While we encourage taking walks on the property and in the National Park, please do not wander into our neighbor's backyards in the surrounding area as you will be trespassing on private property.
Also note, THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO USE OF OFF HIGHWAY VEHICLES (OHV) IN THIS AREA.

Situated near the primary entrance of Joshua Tree National Park and just two miles south of Joshua Tree Village, Orion Major offers convenient access to the park's natural wonders and the amenities of the town. This location provides a serene desert setting while keeping you close to local attractions.

Getting Around:
This is a remote location accessed via unpaved roads, so please drive slowly and carefully. While a car is necessary to get around, a four-wheel drive vehicle is not required, but be aware that the roads may have ruts, particularly after rainfall.
Other Things to Note:
• POOL AND HOT TUB HEATING:
- The hot tub is always free to heat.
- However, during the cooler months, there are extra charges for pool heating, see below.
- If you want the pool heated during these months, please let us know 48 hours before you arrive.
Extra Charges for Pool Heating:
May, September: $150 per night
October, April: $200 per night
November, March: $350 per night
December, January, and February: Pool heating not available
No jumping, diving, running or rough play near the pool and hot tub area. No glass can be around the pool and hot tub, there are plastic cups in the kitchen to be used outside. Please mind the quiet hours (no loud noises after 10pm). No intoxicated persons may use the pool or hot tub. NO LIFEGUARD WILL BE ON DUTY - YOU SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK.
• EVENTS & COMMERCIAL PHOTOSHOOTS: Are not permitted without prior approval, applicable permit and additional fees.
• DOGS: Dogs are welcome and there is a one time fee of $100. Maximum of 2 Dogs allowed. No other types of animals are authorized.

• CELL SERVICE: Cell phone service availability and quality in the high desert varies by service provider. This is particularly true in the more remote areas of Joshua Tree, Pipes Canyon, and Pioneertown. Please be prepared by enabling wifi calling or downloading a VOIP program.

Our property manager, Homestead Modern, is local and has staff available from 9am-9pm.
