"Clean, friendly service and beautiful setting."

"The stay was ok. A bit expensive on the weekend, the midweek price is about what you would expect. The room was generally clean but was dusty that flared up my husbands allergies - either the curtains or behind the bed, or the decorative pillows and throw. Breakfast was ok - poached eggs were served severely undercooked and then the next lot came in extremely over."

"A quiet old school hool hotel that still has all its charms. Room was clean and refurbished thought paint work on roof was ordinary. Loved the room fortunately away from train line just across the street. Not too noisy. Cute township."

One other person wanted to do a la carte but the mgt advised they could not do this. The waiter in charge was abrupt banged the bottle of wine on the table.
