This spot is a 5-minute drive from any of the gorgeous Jekyll Island beaches, and is dog friendly, which was a great added benefit. We will definitely be returning!"

"Oaks on the River couldn't be more different from the chain hotels and mostly in good ways. The physical layout of rooms set in multiple buildings including two 200-year old mansions is the most obvious. Our king size bedroom felt very king-size. We arrived late in the rain and found our room with A MAP. Dining room was filled but the room service option was there.
