"This hotel is walkable to Yu Garden and we can view the bund from across the river. There’s a lots of restaurant and store in the area. Room is clean, staff is nice, the only thing is that they need to make it better is that they need to have someone greeting from the main entrance because its confusing since the main loby is on tha 5th floor. Thank you."

"We ended up canceling this hotel due to their male staffing has a very terrible attitude towards us. It was our first time visiting Shanghai. We were very excited to check out this hotel that we booked couple months ago. Soon as we walked in. We were greeted by the staff to the front. However this male staff I believe his name is Summer. He has a very bad attitude. First he asked us for two passports then he quickly turn around and told his other staff to make sure that our passport is not...

"All was okay - great location, fine staff, good food options, sufficient toiletries and towels, free water, tea, and coffee, though no safe; laundry and spa facilties were there too, though I did not use them - too time consuming and expensive, respectively (was not impressed by the look of the spa - had to wait long for anybody to attend to me), but the most objectionable thing was that I was fooled - I booked a room with city view but got the view of an empty terrace and windows of other rooms...

"Ssaw Hotel is a great choice as it is very centrally located to many attractions. The Yu Garden was only a few minutes away as well as lots of shopping areas. The pier was also only a few minutes walking distance. The hotel itself had great amenities and the breakfast had lots of choices. I highly recommend this hotel."
