"This was my first time renting from a "corporate style" vacation rental company, so while the communication was "ok," it was void of the usual personal touches I enjoy.I was recovering from macular hole repair eye surgery, necessitating I not return to our higher elevation (3,800') Mount Shasta home. I needed to spend a week with my face down so waking hours in a massage chair and sleeping hours on a massage table.The host knew about my eye surgery, yet there was no word about hoping my healing...

"Only two towels and nobody to ask for more, no management on site.Some crackhead lookin folks live there, weird place. The tv runs off WiFi and the signal is too weak to watch anything-so, no tv.Fire pit is down a fairly steep trail, hard to access for folks with back issues, needs stairs. Pics are misleading.Worst shower on the planet. The shower head is shoulder height, and I’m 5’9” The bed was very comfortable!"

"In general, the space was acceptable, but there were a number of issues. The inexpensive blinds did not create a completely private space (and one was broken). The silverware in the drawer appeared poorly cleaned. The wifi network was only available the first of the three-day stay, which made being there for a work trip quite difficult. Upon entering the space, there was a distasteful smell, which I believe was the use of a fragrance to cover up a moldy smell."

"The setting is amazing. The layout of the apartment was nice. The bedroom and bath on one end and the living space, kitchen on the other end. We had 2 problems, and the hostess responded immediately. No dishwasher but we did not cook. We spent very little time in the apartment. LOVE the town of Ashland."
