Tiny House on the Lake

Experience tiny house living in a serene location on beautiful all sports Big Wolf Lake, on a chain of 7 lakes.
Just minutes from I-94, Michigan International Speedway, Skydive Tecumseh, and Lefglen Nature Sanctuary .
Enjoy paddling the lake and it's channels in our kayaks available for use. (Life vests provided)
Good fishing for bass, panfish, and occasional pike.
We have dock space, but no beach area for swimming, although the lake does have a large sand bar for swimming and a small county park with a beach area.
Pontoon rental is available at a local marina just across the lake.
Outdoor grill and fire pit with wood provided along with campfire forks for roasting hotdogs or marshmallows.
Everything you should need for outdoor enjoyment is provided from lawn chairs to picnic tables, even some yard games. We even have a small screened tent that could be setup if the bugs are a nuisance.

Peaceful getaway!

Loved staying in the tiny house. It’s been on my bucket-list for years to stay in a tiny house. This was a beautiful surprise. The house is very well thought out. Met Luke, our host. He was very friendly. I highly recommend

The layout of the house was very well thought-out. It was very roomy for two people, with a large bathroom and plenty of space to move about. The location in the woods but close to the lake was great. The fire pit was the cherry on top- maybe it should be mentioned that you need to bring something to light the fire with, though. Or supply matches / lighter. We totally enjoyed our stay and would come again!

Great tiny home and lake location

Well-constructed and appointed tiny home with easy lake access to a chain of lakes, paddle boards, kayaks, etc. Quiet, peaceful location to sit around the fire pit or just watch the wildlife. If you’re looking for a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of normal life without having to go too far away, this is an ideal place.

This is the perfect little getaway. Myself, my wife and two teenage children had a blast. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing and played games all night. The house his immaculate and the guest provides us with everything we needed. All we needed was food and drinks!

Perfect house in the woods right near beautiful lake

Came to Michigan for a weekend of fishing and Nascar. House was perfect for 6 family members. Location was awesome, set in a woods with the dock a short walk away. Very private yard. The chain of lakes was beautiful, great time fishing and swimming. Would definitely come back in the future.

Incredible Lake, Relaxing Easy Stay

The tiny house was perfect for a friend and I to kick back for a few days. We enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen and over the fire. The spacious bathroom was great for a relaxing shower after swimming and kayaking. And the lake is pristine! Warm and so fun to paddle around. We especially enjoyed exploring the channels.

Cozy and quaint

Stayed here for our wedding night. It was cozy and comfortable, and we loved the feeling of being in the trees. The weather was 90 degrees but inside the tiny house it dropped to 60, the air conditioning in there is phenomenal. We took the kayaks out for a ride which were clean and worked great. Our host was so easy to talk to and ask questions, responding almost immediately. 100 percent would come back.

Nature, wildlife, water...everything!

We had an amazing stay at tge tinyhpuse. Our family of 5 fit perfectly inside, but the majority of our time was spent outside! Our host, Luke was so generous with the kayaks, dock, and lakefront yard. We had such a relaxing time watching the deer, swans, and songbirds. Our kids loved the kayaks. All in all, a great getaway. We hope to return!

Beautiful location

Great location, easy to find and right in the middle of nature. We saw a swan on the lake and from the tiny house we saw deer, a sandhill crane and even a black squirrel. The house itself was immaculate and worked great for our family trip.

Beautiful property

The home and the setting are wonderful. The hosts were gracious and kind. Everything you need is provided; kitchen supplies, outdoor seating, fire pit, firewood, kayaks and even a cornhole game. With two beds and a futon couch, a family of six can comfortably stay here. The living space with the futon is great for adults who prefer not to climb up to the loft or who want privacy, which the pocket door allows. The finishes in the home are lovely, the views are terrific, and the lake is fun to explore. We hope to be regular guests here. Thank you to our hosts for a fabulous weekend!

A peaceful, fun retreat

We were so thrilled to find this gem of a property for a weekend away. The tiny house is so incredibly cute and more spacious than I was expecting. The host really thought of everything. You can expect plenty of outdoor space with a fire pit and wood, kayaks for enjoying the lovely lake (if you head to the sand bar, it’s a great time) and wildlife sightings! I would love to stay here again and would highly recommend it to others. For more than two guests, you might want to bring extra pillows and blankets.

Relaxing and beautiful

We went for a weekend getaway to destress and enjoy the lake. Very clean, comfortable and beautiful tiny house. Management is helpful and friendly. There was so much wildlife. Will be returning in the future.

Perfect getaway

Our stay at the tiny house was wonderful! It is clean, functional, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The kayaks were put to very good use by kids and parents alike. The lake was so peaceful midweek. We played games in the yard and used the fire pit each night after watching the beautiful sunset over the lake. We loved the deer, birds and cats. Luke was attentive and helpful. We hope to go back!

Weekend Getaway

My husband and I rented this tiny home oasis for a weekend trip and to get away from work stressors. This vacation rental did not disappoint. First and foremost the owner was so accommodating, welcoming, very easy to contact for anything and made sure we were enjoying our stay. From the peaceful lake setting to the gorgeous finishes inside the tiny home you will find yourself enjoying every aspect of your stay. The home comes with access to a large green lawn, dock to fish of from, kayaks to use and explore the beautiful lake- we LOVED this part. There is a fire pit, grill and fully stocked kitchen. The A/C works amazing and keeps the tiny house as cold as you wish even when you sleep in the lofts. Speaking of the sleeping- comfy beds, the futon could also be used as a bed and its very comfy as well. If you are looking to unplug, relax, enjoy the lake life this is the place to stay! We will be back! Thanks again for a wonderful weekend!
