A gritty, broken up driveway brought us to the main entrance which had a large plain pond with nothing in it - just an unloved body of water which must have, at one stage, had a welcoming water feature, I assume. The bungalow and the veranda offer plenty of space and the kitchen is perfectly equiped - you'll find everything you need if you wish to cook your own meals. "Pleasant rural outlook, away from area of bars and resorts, but a short drive to Muri shops, beach and dining. It is a comfortable apartment. The driveway is a bit rough, and I was glad to have got a taxi there, and hired a car next day, as it would have been hard to find in the dark."

Nautilus staff we found dismissive, Muri staff more pleasant. BBQ area is nice but the hot plates are old and barely heat meaning without an over, self catering is challenging. Good proximity to beach and great use of snorkles / kayak / reef shoes etc."
