Targhee Creek Cabin by Yellowstone Park

Welcome to Targhee Creek Cabin, our little piece of paradise. This newly renovated cabin sits on 1.5 acres of land. The grounds are full of trees with occasional wildlife. There is also a year round creek (Targhee Creek) that runs right through the property. The cabin sits away from other cabins, nestled in the mountains that face Henry’s Lake. The mountains, creek, and lake guarantee beautiful views from every window. There are five bedrooms and two bathrooms. The living room and kitchen have an open layout leaving you with plenty of space to enjoy. In addition to the grounds being pretty, the location is near lots of great attractions. The cabin is only a 12-minute drive to Yellowstone Park, located close to Henry’s Lake access points, and near Quake, Cliff, and Wade Lakes. Mack’s Inn and Pond’s lodge are also just a quick drive away. It is also just around the corner from Yellowstone Playhouse where you can enjoy dinner and a show. If you like a little adventure there are Rzr, four-wheeler, and motorcycle trails close by and the Cabin has ample parking for your toy haulers. There isn’t a bad season to come stay at our cabin. Not only is summer and spring great, but during the fall you can see the leaves change color, and during the winter you can play in snow and ride snowmobiles. We know you will enjoy staying at our little piece of heaven.

What a wonderful stay! Our group of 10 (7 adults, 3 kids) had the best time at this beautiful cabin on Targhee Creek. The zip line was an absolute hit with the kids—and a few brave adults too! We loved having enough space for the babies to sleep comfortably in our rooms. The property is stunning, and the peaceful setting made for a perfect getaway. Special shoutout to the charming little cemetery next door—the grandmas were delighted to spot old trapper names and local history. We’d come back in a heartbeat next time we’re in the area. Thank you for sharing this gem with us!

Beautiful property. We spent too much time in Yellowstone and didn't fully get to enjoy it but would stay there again. 6 adults 6 kids and the kids loved the bunk rooms. They also spent a few minutes each morning on the Zipline and in the creek.

We enjoyed the coziness of the cabin. The surroundings were beautiful and serene (despite being close to a busy road). The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. Being close to West Yellowstone and the park entrance was a major plus. Our family had a wonderful time!!

Nice home in beautiful setting.

This house was a little hard to find but was very clean and accomodated our family. Right beside a running creek with a fire pit. 20 minutes from Yellowstone Park but an easy drive. We enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful cabin retreat

Highly recommend this cabin for large family gatherings. Creek running by with awesome firepit next to it. Close access to Henrys Lake to make it a wonderful fishing getaway.

Very nice property. Well stocked. We had a great stay. Very close access to yellowstone national park- 15 min drive. We also did a day trip to grand tetons from here (3 hr drive) and it worked out well. Thanks!

Great Yellowstone Stay

We had a great stay with extended family while visiting Yellowstone National Park. The location was convenient for visiting the park each day as well as dining and shopping in West Yellowstone. There was plenty of space for everyone and we all really enjoyed the outdoor space and fire pit near the creek. Thanks again for sharing this beautiful space!

Lovely Yellowstone Getaway

The property is very well maintained and perfect for a large family. We loved the firepit by the creek and wifi. We didnt realize the property was adjacent to the highway, but the truck noise wasn't really an issue. We would stay here again and recommend it to friends.

Family Trip to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons

This was exactly the type of place we were looking for when searching for a "base camp" for our trip to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. This home is located off a main hwy, but feels very secluded. The home was clean and suited my family very well.

Perfect, secluded spot to visit Yellowstone!

Great place! Nicer on the interior than expected! Very close to the town of West Yellowstone and Yellowstone’s West Entrance. Secluded and private! Loved the fire pit area next to the creek!

Wonderful spot

We had a very lovely stay as a group (8 adults). The property was exactly as listed and pictured. Beautiful, comfortable and very clean. It was actually just under 20 minutes from the West entrance to Yellowstone National Park.
