"The location was convenient and surprisingly quiet. The room itself was clean however the sheets smelled oddly like floor cleaner. The bathroom floor needed to be swept. The breafast was basic however if you happened to look up from where you were earing you would be greeted with a large spider web. The web crossed the lightning fixtures about 6 feet. The web was impressive. "

"Pros: new hotel, very clean, smells nice, great front desk service, and robust breakfast Cons: had trouble getting room cooled off at night, front desk can control AC, got better after requesting more air to our room. Sheets are very scratchy - maybe "too new" - beds are comfy otherwise. No exhaust fan in the bathroom is a huge minus."

"Beds were very comfortable, plenty of pillows, blankets, bathroom towels etc. breakfast was hot with plenty of variety. Staff was extremely friendly and many times greeted me before I had a chance to talk. Quiet comfortable setting. I will definitely be returning. 2 night stay and truly had a wonderful stay. "

"My wife and I have stayed at hundreds of hotels over the years, and Hotel McCoy was the most unique hotel we have stayed at. They have made the best of the property, with many activities for guests. We loved the extensive oatmeal bar, and the fact that virtually everything in the lobby and bar is from Texas. The art is cool and the retro microwave and fridge were really neat. Let's not forget, the staff was wonderful!"
