"This was a magical place! We brought my son and 2 friends, all 12 years old. All 3 boys LOVED our stay. "This is a very unique hotel experience in the desert, which I absolutely loved. The manager, Alice, was also the cook and waitress. She was so friendly, and we had great conversations during my stay. The room was recently renovated and was very comfortable. I liked the porch, where I could sit and look at the mountains and the desert. I kind of wish I stayed in a teepee."

"This property is absolutely beautiful. The river runs just below the area and the sound of the water is so nice and calming. They have coffee for the mornings which i truly appreciated! 2 seperate buildings for bathrooms and a separate space with showers (partially outside, rock floors and open roof! Also access to the river with steps made of large rocks. Everyone was helpful and friendly. "

"This a great place to stay, especially if you're staying more than one night. It's about three minutes out of town so it's quiet but you can get to a restaurant quickly if you don't take advantage of the full kitchen this place offers. If you're heading to Death Valley you simply turn right at the end of the street and take a beautiful back way into the park. The hosts answered all my questions quickly.
