In The Oaks

In The Oaks is a newly remodeled 3 Br-2 bath home located on an acre in the oak covered foothills above the valley of Three Rivers. The Oaksis located only 2.5 miles from the entrance to the Sequoia National Park! Inside features good furnishings and a very nicely set up kitchen. Put together and Hosted by an experienced local team. From the furnishings to the cleanliness and the personal touches throughout, we will take good care of you. There is an EV charging outlet in the parking area that is free to use. See more about that at the bottom of this section and photos at the end of our In The Oaks gallery.
Inside the ‘Oaks’ features all the amenities of a home - including a fully stocked kitchen. The bathrooms are always clean with plenty of good - fresh and clean towels provided. We also supply you with shampoo, conditioner, body wash. The beds are all brand new top of the line Queen size and include all new linens. These beds are comfortable! We use hypoallergenic pillow and bed protectors for your safety and comfort. The couches and the dining room table for 6 are very comfortable as well. Yes, there is a large hd-tv and very good Wi-Fi; good enough to stream movies 24/7 so we provide you with free Netflix.
In the Oaks is truly a wonderful getaway 'Selfie Spot' and a great place to relax after a long day at the Sequoia & Kings Canyon Parks. The neighborhood around the home is secluded and quiet with great mountain views and yet it is only a short drive to both the Sequoia Park and the town of Three Rivers. The property features great outdoor spaces with privacy & beautiful mountain views with gathering spaces front to back that include comfortable seating to bbq, watch sunsets or the stars. See our photos, they are accurate and true. The house is brand new as a BnB so EVERYTHING IS BRAND NEW!
In addition to providing you with access to our own website, which is loaded with information, in the home you will also find easy to read one page local and park driving and planning maps. These also include our own custom 'where is what' food map for Three Rivers.
We do all we can to help make your trip and stay here as fun and relaxing as possible!
During your stay, if you have any questions or need anything I am available 24/7.
IT IS NOT mandatory that we meet - most people want privacy and of course a clean and comfortable stay.
WE GIVE YOU THAT! COME STAY AT THE 'OAKS'. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!
The EV charger is FREE TO USE. It is a dedicated Nema 14-50 (amp) outlet located in the parking area for easy access. If you want to use the charger make sure that you have your power cord with a Nema 14-50 plug (4 prongs) or an adapter for it. See photos in gallery.
We used an antique gas pump to house the outlet :)
The outlet does have a lock on it so just let me know you want to use it and I will provide you with the combination.

In the Oaks was a perfect location for us to be just outside the park and accessible to stores and restaurants. Mark the property mgr was very attentive and replied quickly to any inquiry. We would love to stay here again! Beds were comfortable, house was clean, basic needs provided, kitchen was well appointed and views and the grounds are great. We had a few deer that kept visiting us in the morning. I’m sure wanting scraps but we loved just watching roam around.

Fantastic stay outside Sequoia National Park

We had a terrific stay! The property was very clean and well-stocked and close to the Foothills Visitor Center at the NP. Plenty of parking in the driveway. The deck out front was a beautiful spot for coffee in the morning and we grilled and had dinner on the patio out back later in the evening after spending the day in the parks. Mark provided helpful information and recommendations for our stay. His communication was always quick and friendly. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it highly to everyone.

Great Location for Sequoia NP

We enjoyed our stay at Mark's rental. Very clean and well equipped for travelers with nice snacks and wine as a welcome. The view of the mountains was very nice and the location was peaceful. It was a perfect location for spending a couple days in Sequoia National Park. Three Rivers is a peaceful little town with great food! We enjoyed dinners at the Buckaroo and The Gateway Lodge, both overlooking the Kaweah River. We also enjoyed The Totem Market and Gift Shop as well as Reimer’s Candy & Gifts for sweet treats. Thanks, Mark!

Great stay at the Oaks

This property was perfect for our three day stay. It is only 15 min from the park. We arrived late at night and it was so easy to find even without gps. It is totally secluded but still very close to three sisters to eat & get ice cream and do some groceries. The house was very clean and equipped with everything. The view was is beautiful. Definitely recommend .

The communication about our stay was outstanding! We had all the info we needed about the rental and the area well in advance. We were treated to complementary wine and snacks. Very thoughtful! There is a guest sign-in book for renters to leave notes about what they enjoyed in the area during their stay if you need ideas. Recommend!

We stayed at In The Oaks as a base to explore Kings Canyon and Sequoia NP. It was the perfect starting point for our time in the parks. The house was immaculate, with great amenities - washer/dryer, well stocked kitchen, etc. We especially enjoyed the view from the front porch. .

Was a place to rest as we explored Sequoia NP. Great location with easy access to the park. Home was inviting and comfortable. Would easily be a place to stay for longer periods and Three Rivers was a interesting place to visit
