"My husband and I had come from a long distance and more than anything wanted tranquility. We were able to enjoy the views, cook good meals in the lovely kitchen and enjoy the quiet. I don't think we have ever stayed in a place that was quite so comfortable. The whole experience was like a warm hug."

"Darling small bungalow style home that was nicely decorated and comfortable. Bonus outdoor patio that we really enjoyed. Good location. Road to home had some twist and turns. Just be cautious and drive slowly. Definitely recommend! We loved our stay here."

"I had a quiet, clean, cozy fall mom getaway in Martha's country cottage. Everything I needed -- comfortable couch and beds, outdoor tables, indoor tables for working and writing and doing small puzzles -- for a little getaway. Surrounded by green, with the only sounds the distant hum of 116 and birds and squirrels.I did lots of cooking, and found enough pans and utensils and spices to make it easy. "The property is nestled into a tranquil hillside surrounded by trees and wildlife with easy access to hiking trails and adorable nearby towns with great places to eat. The unit we stayed in was clean and well-appointed and extremely comfortable. The spa area is shared but we never encountered others. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay. "

The gardens were beautiful even for September, and I'm sure they're magnificent in the spring. The hosts went above and beyond what anyone should expect. They're truly lovely. "We stayed the weekend with friends at this beautiful hideaway in the woods and had a wonderful time. The house was spotless, the jacuzzi was perfect, the lighting was fun and ethereal, the fireplace was cozy, tv was easy to operate and had Netflix (thanks!). The beds are on the soft side, and curtains are sheer, which didn’t bother us, but that might be hard for some folks. We had a great time! Thank you so much!!!"

"The property is located in a nice quiet neighborhood. The backyard was very private with a hot tub( we didn’t use it, but it looked good.)The house was very clean and well appointed.We used this home as a jumping off point for Sonoma and Napa Valley wine tastings. Quick access to the highways and close to excellent restaurants in downtown Santa Rosa. Would definitely recommend this house!"

"Exactly as we envisioned. A short walk to Marshall Store, the best lunch on the bay. Kids enjoyed the tide pools under the house. House is in great condition and comfortable.The dock was compromised by the storm, which affected most docks in the bay, and the pictures have not been retaken. Hopefully they will be able to repair it. "
