This splendid cottage provides the ideal escape to embrace the serenity of nature in a beautiful, cozy, and conveniently located setting. Just moments away, you'll find hiking trails, biking routes, a serene swimming beach, kayak rentals, and the charming town of Inverness.

Guest access:
The home is set up for self check-in. Guests can access the home via lockbox and will have access to the entire home.

1. Confirmed guests will receive a local "Insider's Guide". We're a family business deeply connected to our community, and we hope you'll enjoy and respect this beautiful corner of the world while supporting our local economy sustainably. We love sharing it with our guests!

2. The home is professionally cleaned with eco-friendly products.

3. No chores for our guests! That’s what the cleaning fee is for, right? We have a fantastic team of housekeepers, some of whom have worked with us for over 10 years. We fully clean each home top to bottom, fully restocking all amenities, replacing worn-out items, and keeping things fresh and pleasant for our guests. We use top-notch cleaning products without annoying scents or chemicals, and our cleaners are paid living wages because they are the backbone of what we do and you’ll appreciate their attention to detail.

4. Please be mindful of our quiet neighborhood after dark, and no parties or gatherings without prior approval. If you're looking for a place to cut loose and laugh and play music late into the night, we have other homes nearby that are more appropriate. Please ask us for alternative accommodation and we’d be happy to help find a place!

Guest interaction:
The property is set up for contactless entry. We are a local company that manages the property. We're just 15 minutes away, and our office is in Point Reyes Station. We're here 7 days a week to answer your questions or address any issues, usually within an hour, even on weekends and holidays.


Neighborhood:
This home is in a very quiet neighborhood. There are no ambient sounds at night and as a result, any noise travels. Please be respectful to our neighbors who live here for peace and tranquility and keep outside noise to a minimum after dark.

Inverness is a charming coastal village in California. Known for its serene natural beauty, it's an ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Enjoy hiking and biking trails, kayaking, and exploring the nearby Point Reyes National Seashore. Savor fresh seafood at local eateries, visit quaint markets, and unwind in cozy accommodations. Inverness offers a peaceful escape with breathtaking bay views and a welcoming, small-town atmosphere.


Getting around:
There is free parking in the gated driveway. Restaurants, bars, and markets are within walking distance.
Outside quiet time begins after sunset. This home is in a very quiet neighborhood and sound travels at night. Out of respect for our neighbors and the home-sharing community, please do not abuse this. You can hang out inside after dark and laugh all night, but not outside where the sound will carry throughout our happy little valley and most certainly annoy our neighbors.

No additional guests without prior approval. This is not the place for parties or gatherings, if that's what you're looking for, contact us, we manage other homes nearby that might work better for you.

Guests are responsible for any damages or charges incurred by them during their stay.
Have fun, be respectful, alert us right away if something is broken or amiss.

Note: We reserve the right to enforce charges via the Airbnb Resolutions Center for damages or unreasonable use of listing utilities. Abuse of house amenities may result in post-reservation charges equal to the value of costs incurred. By booking our listing, you agree to these terms and all other house rules.

No animals. If you simply must bring your pet, we can refer you to one of our other properties which welcomes dogs. Violation of either of this rule will incur a minimum $500 cleaning fee.

There has been an uptick in bear sightings in the area, in part due to past years of drought. Please be mindful not to leave any food items in your car or outdoors, and clean off the BBQ after use. It hasn't been a big issue at Baytree and we're doing our best to keep the property 'boring' for any bears that may be passing through. Thank you!

Other than that, we're easy and will assume that you'll be respectful and responsible.
