Bienvenido a Treehouse Lodge! Nombrado por su entorno paisajístico. Justo cuando entras por la puerta, te recibe la amplia sala de estar, con techos altos y chimenea de piedra de río. La sala de estar tiene un televisor grande y un equipo de música, y es un lugar ideal para la noche de juegos en familia, e incluso tiene una mesa de póquer para aquellos que quieran subir la apuesta inicial.

Los arreglos para dormir no son un problema si hay varias parejas / familias. La casa tiene 4 habitaciones privadas. En la planta baja, la casa tiene dos dormitorios principales, ambos con sus propios baños privados y acceso privado a la cubierta. Hay dos dormitorios adicionales: uno con una cama doble, uno con una cama doble. También hay un tercer baño completo.

Además, en la planta superior hay un área de loft que puede servir como un quinto dormitorio. El loft tiene una litera con una cama tamaño queen en la parte inferior y una individual en la parte superior, perfecta para los niños. El área del loft también tiene una mesa de futbolín y un reproductor de VCR con una colección de cintas VHS clásicas. La casa cuenta con Wi-Fi, así como un área de oficina para aquellos que necesitan revisar los correos electrónicos o trabajar fuera de la oficina.

El lugar más popular en la casa es la cubierta. La cubierta es agradable y espaciosa, con una gran cantidad de asientos al aire libre para cenar y descansar. Hay una barbacoa en la cubierta, así como un pozo de fuego con una agradable sala de estar al aire libre. La cubierta es un gran lugar para pasar el rato con el grupo, disfrutando del aire fresco rodeado de pinos, escuchando el murmullo del arroyo, acurrucándose junto a la fogata con sus personas favoritas.

My son got married at the Harvey House nearby. Since our family is from New Jersey and needed to find a place for all of us to stay, this house worked out perfectly. The house held 10 people, which we had, just wish there was seating in the living room for all of us. I was disappointed that the management office couldn’t provide a rental crib for my 2 year old grandson but we were able to purchase a pack and play off the marketplace. The creek running in the backyard was an added attraction. The kids loved climbing on the rocks and wading in the cold water. The sound of the water and the sight of the stars were awesome. I just loved Idyllwild and would rent this house again if we ever return.

The location is wonderful - right on the creek and a short walk to town. The property management staff are responsive and courteous. The kitchen and 2 of the bathrooms have been remodeled and are very nice.One of the master bathrooms has an old tub/shower that needs replacing. Most of the drapes and the blinds need to be replaced. The smallest bedroom has nowhere to store anything - no dresser or closet. There's just a bed. That said, we really enjoyed our stay there.

We had 7 adults & 1 dog so finding a home with a fenced yard, a dinner table that would accommodate all of us was important. A fireplace, nice outside deck with gas fire pit and grill were also must haves. We loved that the village was only a 5 min walk and there was a trail right along the creek behind our house that we could take so we didn't have to walk the road. We can't say enough about the property mgmt personnel of New Spirit Vacation Homes; Walter, Gabby, Nancy were just amazing providing some items that were missing from the home. Will book this home again!!

The house was big and spacious. A few suggestions. The street to the house was not marked so you can find it. Maybe a sign with the street name could b bigger. The littlest bedroom could use a dresser. No where to put clothes. The bed in the middle bedroom could use a better mattress. It sinks in the middle. But the house was well equipped and was very nice.

This house was in a perfect setting of Strawberry Creek, an easy trail into town, ferns, sweet peas, wild roses and birds everywhere! So if porch sitting and quiet times are what is needed, this house is the one. If enjoying and supporting the local shops and restaurants, this house is the one. The house is beautiful! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to have dinners at home, on the porch, in the trees.

The home is as described. It's in a wonderful, private location right on Strawberry Creek. Very close to town. The only thing I didn't like was the kitchen...now my wife wants one just like it! It is stocked with everything you'll need. The beds were fine for us, no problems there. Our granddaughter LOVED the upstairs game room! Overall, a great experience!

The property and the town of Idyllwild was really nice . The property was able to accommodate 10 people and two dogs pretty comfortably (minus one bed that felt like sleeping directly on a box spring). The front yard was great for dogs because it was safe and fenced in. The deck was also beautiful and serene next to a babbling creek. My only complaint was with New Spirit Vacation Rentals, property manager. Even though I booked through VRBO I still had to complete 4 extra contracts and a lot more steps to check in (more than just going to a hotel). It was more like leasing an apartment. They wanted it done several days prior to arrival. Everything from checking in early (before 4 pm) and checking out late after (10am) is an additional fee ($25-$50/ hr). I would not book with a New Spirit Property Rental again.

The treehouse cabin is amazing. We needed to get out of the city and just enjoy a little down time. This was perfect. Plenty of space for the 9 of us. With 3 little kids. They got to watch Disney movies and have their own little playing area upstairs. All couples got to enjoy their own room with their own bathroom. The kitchen was a dream! With everyone wanting to help with dinner there was plenty of room. Don't worry about bring any kitchen stuff this place has any pot or pan or baking dish you will need or want. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

The cabin was comfortable, cozy and offered many options for relaxing and entertaining activities. We went on hikes, played games, watched movies, cooked, read... The creek on the back, the patio... great ambiance. Very convenient walking distance to the center. Loved it!

This property is secluded but close to town and other places to hike, shop n explore. Only problem we had is that heater took too long to warm up cabin because I think house keeping didn’t turn it on before we checked in. Management company was very responsive to remedy our problem and followed up constantly.

Unfortunately, we booked through VRBO and then were hassled to utilize a local management company who required we signed 20 pages of legal documents and then refused to release a physical key without a photocopy of my ID + credit card. I argued that this was a violation of my privacy, but they couldn’t care less. Their past experience with bad renters trumped my right to privacy and that doesn’t sit well with me. We arrived to find a bag of trash hanging from the dining room chair and wet towels in the washing machine + a load of linens in the dryer. The wood we paid $50 for was nowhere to be seen but the management company is responsive and they were able to rally to bring us some wood for the fireplace the first night. Three of four beds are unbearably uncomfortable, one squeaks with every move, the second is so past it’s life you cave to the center, and the third is hard as a rock. Think VT ski cabin 1995 - all the beds need to be replaced + pillows that are as flat as a pancake and desperately need replacing. Highly advise you bring your own pillows. The house is otherwise lovely, the kitchen is beautiful and the appliances are wonderful. This was a spacious place with a beautiful kids loft (which lacks light!!) - there was plenty of room for us to spread out. We had our dog and the front yard is fully fenced which is nice. The back porch is fenced but the yard has a fence that will not keep any dogs inside. The location is perfect, allowing for an easy walk to town through the woods down the side of the creek. Idyllwild is dog friendly so that makes the policy not to allow dogs alone in the house at any time feasible.

The Treehouse was definitely surrounded by trees, Strawberry creek off deck was alive with wild flowers. Cabin was very airy, lots of windows made it open and relaxing. Kitchen to die for, it looked weird in the online pics but was huge and the granite counters looked like slices of trees gorgeous. Beds comfy, every room clean, everything you needed was there. Couldn't get tv to work, called & had technician there in 3 hours to fix it. Had to hunt down fire extinguisher for bbq use as required by local fire dept, it was on wall just inside sliding glass door. Deck was perfect for just sitting and enjoying the tall trees everywhere. Many types of birds, stellar jays, towhees, juncos. Trail off the deck takes you into town. Beautiful restful place to be.

Very nice, plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen well equipped. Some of the rooms were a little cool with the sliding glass doors to the deck. Lighting is good but did not realize the switches had dimmers which were off when we arrived. We though we had no kitchen lights. Called management and responded quickly to resolve the issue. Overall really enjoyed the stay.

This house was the perfect location! Short walk in to town and beautiful deck overlooking the creek. Our kids had a great time exploring the creek area while the adults enjoyed the deck! The kitchen and bathrooms are all beautifully redone and the room set-up was perfect for two families! The house was clean overall, but several of the sheets, blankets, and towels were old, rough, and worn. Some new linens would go a long way in giving 5 stars all around. Overall, we would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful weekend. Home very clean and well stocked for a group of 10. Kids and parents and grandparents enjoyed playing in stream, games on patio, family meals around a big kitchen table. 3 separate areas with a full bathroom for 3 families was perfect for a group with a big loft made a great play and sleep area for kids. Good location easy walk to town. Beautiful area, we drove up to Boulder campground. We enjoyed very much. Thank you!
