"Excellent location. We are from the Philadelphia area visiting our daughter and her husband in Houston. This short trip gave us the opportunity to see Dallas, Waco and many small towns in between. Home was spotless and well equipped. Host provided all information required and was available should we have had any questions or issues...which we did not. I could go on and on but will leave my discussion with the recommendation that if you are looking for a get away weekend from close by major city...

"The house was clean, tastefully decorated, cozy and comfortable. It was in a good location…a couple miles from the highway, within 10 minutes of downtown Waco and Magnolia silos-easy to navigate. Homestead Heritage was a half mile. It was great to come back after a long day touring to relax. We would definitely come back. Thanks!"

"The property is nice and private. Needs some updates tho. Unfortunately, the property had not been cleaned when we arrived. After multiple attempts to contact the owner, Chris, we cleaned it ourselves including changing bed linens. Chris sent a written message around midnight. No response until I finally called VRBO. He did return some money after VRBO called him. I spent 6-7 hours of my time off cleaning and trying to resolve this issue. Very disappointed."

"Overall the property was good. We just didn't have wifi so no tv or phone. The property does say no cleaning fee and I should have paid attention to that as the place was not as clean. Hand/finger prints on doors and furniture that could easily be wiped off, hair in shower walls and under the bed/couch area was so dusty and found underwear that could easily be swept, also found a broken iron and the remote batteries were not good.
