"Only hot option was hard boiled eggs. Toaster only toasted light, even on dark option. Place was clean and organized. No vending machines anywhere in the building. Our room on the third floor smelled like dirty socks unless the AC was on. The thermostat only worked when it wanted to. Saw the front desk lady throw her cigarette down in front of the main door on her way in. "

"Wonderful historic cottage in a park-like setting. We arrived late, but the lock box worked perfectly. Comfy bed, slept very well. Well appointed and spotless. We are just sorry we couldn’t stay longer! Highly recommend. "

"We loved our stay! The decor is so welcoming and we loved the heated bathroom floor! We were lucky to get snow and a crew came out and shoveled the driveway, front porch and walkway and salted. Sarah was very responsive and the house is well supplied. We hope to come back and use the lake in the summer.."
