"We stayed at this beautiful cottage last weekend and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The owners were incredibly helpful, especially when we let them know we wouldn’t be arriving until midnight — they couldn’t have been more accommodating. " The hotel needs a complete refurb. The room allocated to us was of poor quality and standard. There was no wardrobe hanging space for ladies dresses and no drawers for storing other clothes. The plug was missing from the bath and the taps were dripping in the bathroom sink. The positive was that the staff were attentive and helpful and the food (breakfast) was excellent. We would not stay here again."

"Room was basic, clean and had good connectivity. I stayed for 3 nights and slept well. The car park always had a space when I arrived back. Staff were very nice. The pub next door serves good quality food. I had the carvery which was very good. I only had a couple of cold items from the breakfast each morning the service was good and I could eat and get on my way quickly. "

"Fantastic Hotel. We’ve used it a few times now. Very clean, big rooms and comfy beds. My father in-law left his jacket in his room, he only realised when we had got home. The staff located it and put it somewhere safe until we got Royal Mail sorted to do a pick up. Very happy with the service. All staff friendly and helpful "

"Excellent for the price I paid. Rooms have recently been renovated and it showed. The only niggles were that the extractor fan in the bathroom was very noisy and probably needs replacing (room 10) and there was no hot water: I tried to have a shower but couldn't: No matter how long you ran the tap for or in which position the water never got warm. Would definitely stay there again. Big thank you to Jamie who so very kindly let me check in early."

"Used for overnight stay for gig in Manchester. Met by host on arrival which was good as instructions were to call the contact number before arrival. However, this was just an inaudible recorded message. Room was warm and clean with small kitchen area (tea andd milk provided but no coffee) and bathroom with shower."
