"We were very impressed as this is a budget friendly type of motel. The front dest service and cleanliness of the entire establishment including the room was great. This is a franchised owned by a family and they were very accommodating and friendly. We would stay there again and recommend to friends and family."

The bathroom was so tiny they had to put the washbowl and linens out in the general area. There was only one washcloth. The bathroom door had been broken on the bottom and poorly repaired. l don't know what the breakfast was like, or if there even was one, because I got out of there the moment day broke in the morning. "The Atlantic Coast is an older motel, but very well kept and clean. They leave you two water bottles, two cans of soda and two bags of chips-which is a nice touch. They have an Indian restaurant on the premises that is very popular with the locals. The only downside is that they do not staff the front office. However they are very responsive in terms of delivering ice, etc if you text them. A very good value if you want a place to base yourself in and then drive the half hour to Bar Harbor."
