"It was a surprise trip for hubby. As we pulled up to the gates, he let out a huge WOW, I did too. The lady that greeted us and showed us around was lovely. Our room, the Nest, was beautiful as was the rest of the castle. We enjoyed a fabulous breakfast and met other members of staff, they were lovely. It was like being in a fairy tale. "We had comfortable stay at the Grove. The room at first glance looked very nice but on further inspection it was not as clean as I would expect. It was dusty around lights, including the bedside light. The bathroom had a strong damp smell as the shower curtain was discoloured as it hadn’t been washed or changed in a good while. "A nice little well presented cottage inside. A lovely kitchen with full amenities. Good bedroom space and storage. Lovely bathroom and shower facilities. Nice living room and dinning area. Very good central heating as it was cold outside. The cottage was always warm. Fantastic hot tub outside as well. Would recommend it and would go again. "
