"We understood when booking that this unit that construction was extensive, and the room did not have an ocean view. That expectation was clear in the listing and email. However, the photos were misleading. The room featured large, expansive curtains that reasonably suggested there would at least be some type of exterior view. "Accommodations were perfect for us…clean, well stocked, user friendly. We enjoyed the local food trucks and grocery stores were close by. The Polynesian Culture Center is a definite recommended visit….many activities in close proximity…."

"The view of the ocean was the only positive for this condo. The A/C consists of portable indoor units which are very noisy. The mattress on the bed was very thin and uncomfortable, as were the pillows. There is a lot of construction on site for building maintenance and so the parking lot is a mess. We had to park a quarter of a mile down the street. Walking to and from the car was dangerous and inconvenient, as the road is busy. The lock boxes are in a very poorly lit hallway. "We absolutley loved our stay, and enjoyed the hosts so much! They were extremely accomodating and kind. They were very understanding and down to earth while the weather caused a difficult travel situation. Unit was clean when we arrived and stayed dry through island flooding. Amenities were as described. We were so grateful for the great AC, and a huge space to cook meals and watch movies as a familiy. Would recommend to anyone who wants to be close to North Shore but our of the hustle and...

"There was major construction going on, we didn’t have water all day one day and scattered times through out the other days, roaches everywhere, and parking was a pain!! We were not told anything about construction until we showed up and saw it and the day we arrived I started getting emails on all other stuff!"

"We had a great time here. The room was cute, cozy and quiet. Rated cleanliness a little lower because of active construction but otherwise it is well maintained. We loved the direct access to the beach and even saw sea turtles on the beach. The best part was watching the sunrise every morning from our lanai overlooking the beach and ocean. Would highly recommend this if you are looking for a spot away from the larger tourist areas. "
