"Very happy with our stay at the Wailea Beach Resort. Staff was super friendly and the resort was beautiful. No beach area directly in front of resort but can walk a short distance to beach area. Loved the cabana at the adult pool! Pricey, but we really enjoyed it. We walked through the Grand Wailea and the Four Seasons. Happy we chose the Wailea Beach Resort and didn’t spend the extra money on the other two options we were considering. I would stay here again."

"Stayed here for our honeymoon and loved it so much we extended our stay. The hotel is so lovely, very clean and friendly staff. We specifically liked that its a smaller hotel so it never felt crowded and we never had an issue with getting a poolside lounger, etc. It’s one street north of the beach area so still very close to shopping, etc. "

"The management should provide parking permits in the room upon checkin. The first three days we were not provided with permit and we got a notice that the car will be towed out. And we were told by management to go use a public parking nearby. This was the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. There was plenty of parking spots in front of us, but with permit. We were told to pick up permit in the office, but the office was always closed. On day 3 after much talk and complain we got the permit....

"This place is not for the average traveller. Plan on a large budget. The breakfast buffet for two with one mimosa each ran roughly $160 after tip. Dinner for two was a little over $400, after tip. The Luao for two was around $850. It was our 10-year anniversary, and I was well prepared and fully expected the expense. To me, it was worth it, and I would definitely come back again. Andaz has a very nice selection of swimming pools; there's even one just for grown-ups. The staff was always helpful,...
