"Very beautiful small flat, Ideal for a couple planning to visit Halifax. We attended a wedding in the city so we also had a friend staying with us on the sofa bed. Flat was squeaky clean and the layout was thought through. It was very nice to see that the owner is thinking about the details like condiments in the kitchen or even spare toothbrushes in the bathroom. "Beware, photos can be deceiving - this apt is very worn out and a bit rustic throughout. And that’s not the worst part, though the apt is swept cleaned, the furnishings are dirty with a lot of food stains in the sofa and rugs. We had to wear socks to avoid getting black feet. "This rental provides a private, well located place for a short term visit. Access to the unit is by stairs to the back of the main house located on a hill with a lovely water view. The kitchen facilities are somewhat limited but adequate, especially for those out sightseeing most of the time. "My wife and I are photographers, and while we have many friends in the HRM, often times coming back after a 10-12 hour day leaves very little energy in the social battery. Coming back to this space was exactly what we needed this trip.
