"My wife and I were in town for family business. We have many family members in the region, and we wanted to stay far off the grid. I’m glad we did. No phone, no cable, no nothing. Absolutely fantastic! We plan to bring our children on the next trip in about 8 months. This place is #1 on the list for my wife and I. I have stayed in most states and countries, but this by far is the best stay in quite some time.

"I appreciated Anthony's timely responses and his kind flexibility with our requests/need to make adjustments to our arrival. The Cottage was a perfect spot to relax and rest. It was clean, quiet, beautifully decorated and the beds were so comfy.... the screened in porch and deck with rockers were favorite spots; and the view was so peaceful. "

"This is a lovely cabin surrounded by trees in a peaceful environment. It is convenient to Jasper, AL and therefore it is a short drive to Bankhead National Forest, 20 minutes to Clear Creek Recreation Area, 30 minutes to Smith Lake, 1 hour to Birmingham, and 1.5 to Tuscaloosa. The photos on the listing are great but it’s more beautiful and peaceful in person.
