"Excellent stay...I booked two nights upon arrival and one night on my way out. This was the best place I stayed at during my 10-day trip. I arrived very early in the morning and I was offered breakfast and allowed to check in early which allowed me to shower and take a nap. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable and gave me some good tips for local things to do in the city. Breakfast was A+ and it's so nice it's include, plus the coffee machine is delicious and the best from my trip.

"First, we had trouble getting into the hotel. There is no physical staff on the property. They email you with a code to get into the front door and the same code opens your room door. Ours didn’t work. I phoned them to help us get in. The gentleman who answered was very pleasant and helpful.
We got in the building. It must be under renovation because the floors are not finished and looked like a construction zone.

"The Hlid Fisherman's Village was an incredibly peaceful and beautiful place to stay on our first visit to Iceland. It was only 15 minutes from Reykjavik but isolated enough that we felt like we were in our own world for the week. The rooms were lovely with great views of the water and local birds. We also appreciated having access to the hot tubs and sauna on site."

Our adventures. His recommendation of Laugaras Lagoon was fantastic! We loved the atmosphere and aesthetics of the hotel and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. We loved the small yet relaxing pool out under the structure. It had a very apocalyptic look and feeling. The chef makes the most delicious Atlantic cod dish and the quinoa burger is tasty."

"Mountain view(some construction going on off to the side). Slight traffic and snow plows through the night on nearby road. The Dome inside was beautiful and peaceful with everything you need. Hot tub right outside. Robes and slippers supplied. Coffee and tea in the room with coffee maker and electric hot water kettle. Radio, multiple heaters and wood stove. Great WiFi. Board games. Heated towel rack and fully stocked bathroom in private bathroom inside the Dome. Food delivery available directly...
