Scratby itself is a well-served village with a mini market and post office, antiques centre, coffee shops, pubs and restaurants. It is also a great base for exploring the delights of Norfolk. The nearby chalet parks apply day rates (chargeable by the park) and guests are welcome to enjoy their indoor and outdoor swimming pools, crazy golf, go-karting track, adventure playground and clubhouse facilities.
Take a trip to the Golden Mile at Great Yarmouth and discover a host of traditional seaside attractions including the Pleasure Beach. Thrill seekers may enjoy a day out at Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park in Lowestoft. For a change of pace, visit Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens and brave the tiger walk through the treetops. Nearby Caister Castle features a classic car museum, or you can enjoy a day at the races, with both horse and dog racing available locally.
