Ground floor flat in the Partick area of Glasgow. Plenty of nice pubs, and restaurants less than within 2min walk away. Lovely small garden to sit with a coffee in the morning or a beer at night. Very close to the Partick train station and Bus station (5min). Short walk to Glasgow University, Kelvin grove art gallery, the Hydro, transport Museum, kelvin grove park.

This property was unclean and unacceptable.The fridge was dirty on arrival, counter tops also, cooker was dangerous, as the knobs fell off and did not turn gas off properly A moldy rusted dirty microwave. There was mold on the bathroom walls and on hallway ceiling. The bath had rotten wood on the bottom, damp smell when using shower with no ventilation. unsafe! The electricity went out in the kitchen and I had poor communication and no help to solve the issue(s) from the owner! I had to climb up on a chair and fix the fuse box for the electricity by myself!! Only ONE smoke alarm in house NO carbon dioxide sensor at all.Sadly the negatives outway the couple of positive areas bedrooms were ok. Old windows that did not open properly. Living room ok. Though the noise from the Masonic lodge next door was loud and the smoking area could be smelled indoors. The property owner had poor communication and help to solve issues and ended up completely ignoring my concerns. I will not recommend or return to this property.

Dangerous cooker. Knobs fell off. Gas was difficult to turn off due to knobs being very loose. Hazardous and unsafe.
Filthy microwave. Rusted. Moldy. Old and unhealthy. Disgusting.

Overall it was great. Good location. Spacious bedrooms and living room. Super hand to Partick station which was great. Nice and quiet (except the birds that were loud in the morning).Two small things to note. The washing machine did not work and the freezer was so iced up the fridge door would not shut. The property manage did respond well but given it was the last day we discovered the washing machine was unable to get a plumber

The flat was very comfortable and nicely situated to walking or catching bus/ train to anywhere we wanted to go. I will say that this area closes up by 7-8. You need to plan your meals accordingly. We happen to normally eat late, so had to be aware of our time so we could get dinner. My one problem was I couldn’t figure out how to work the washer/ dryer for the life of me, and there was no instruction book. I emailed the owners but never heard back from them. It would be great to have instruction.

Location was great, close to subway, train and buses. Shops around the corner. The house was very clean and great to see extras like salt, pepper, oil, a couple of sauces, toiletries, washing powder, dishwasher tabs and plenty of toilet paper. How often do you stay and find you have to buy all these when you only need a little. My only issue was with the washing machine. Although Michael agreed to come and check it out he didn't. Consequently we couldn't use it as there was no water getting into it according to the manual and error code. It meant we had to use the local laundry, not a cheap option, when a machine was sitting there. Not sure if Michael was within easy reach of house or perhaps away. This would not put me off staying there in the future though as the house was fantastic. It was also an excellent location for nearby family visits. Thanks Michael for the use of your house.

Tolles Appartement in Partick. Sehr verkehrsgünstig gelegen, da nur wenige Gehminuten zur U-Bahn-Station Partick. Der Zugang per Schüsselbox war völlig unkompliziert. Es gibt genügend Platz für vier Personen. Das Badezimmer ist großzügig und die Küche ist mit allem, was man so braucht, perfekt ausgestattet.Wir würden bei einem nächsten Glasgow-Aufenthalt wieder dort wohnen wollen.
