"Our family of 4 had a great stay at the Rose River Cottage! It served as an excellent home base for adventures in the area. We hiked at NRG NP, white water rafted (West Virginia Adventures) and Cliff jumped at Summersville Lake (pirates cove for the rocks). Beautiful mornings and sunsets on the river. House is well stocked, and hosts were unbelievably quick with responses."

"Minutes to beautiful falls. Beds were comfortable and house was good size . Enjoyed setting down at the river fishing right on the property, floated the New River both in kayaks and white water rafting . Would definitely stay again if we return to this area ."

"Quiet little neighborhood that’s convenient to north side of park (bridge area). I was impressed with overall cleanliness! Check in/out was a breeze. Didn’t have to do 1/2 of the cleaning before leaving. Would stay again."

"We totally enjoyed our stay during Bridge Day at New River Gorge National Park. Our host was extremely accommodating, available, and responsive. The home was perfectly located between the park and the downtown area in a very quiet neighborhood. It was very clean inside and out, with all the needed essentials to make our stay very comfortable. "The cabin was absolutely perfect. It was just what we had hoped for. The area is secluded and woodsy but very well maintained around the cabin. The cabin it's self was lovely, cozy and clean! The beds were comfortable and the water pressures in the shower was amazing. Our vacation was awesome and the cabin was a big part of that experience. Would highly recommend and will absolutely stay again in the future."

"This almost didn't happen because there was a storm that took the power out. But, fortunately, the power was on and we were able to have 2 nights there. It has so much character. It was clean and located close to the New River Gorge for us to commute back and forth. Tiffany was wonderful to communicate with us and she and Kevin gave a quick history lesson of the place."
