Spacious home in Lancaster County PA with awesome backyard

Beautiful and spacious home on a peaceful wooded lot in Lancaster County. There’s something for everyone in this warm and welcoming home of over 4800 sq ft with 4 bedrooms plus another bedroom / office and a basement rec room. This family friendly home is loaded up with upgrades and outstanding features. The first floor boasts a dramatic entry foyer with hardwood floors and an oak tread staircase, custom detailed woodwork throughout. Its hard to describe how truly beautiful this home is.

There is a spacious eat in kitchen which includes granite counters, large dining room and a morning room leading to the backyard patio. First floor living room features a gas fireplace and new La-Z-Boy furniture set. There is also a study / bedroom on the first floor with a twin bed. The kitchen comes equipped with high end appliances, blender and a Keurig coffee maker combo for pods or grounds (coffee pods supplied) for your use in addition to pots, pans, dishes, glasses and silverware. A washer and dryer is provided in the first floor laundry room for your use. Laundry detergent and dryer sheets are supplied.

The second floor has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The Master bedroom has a King sized bed, sitting area and attached bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and attached bathroom. Third bedroom has a queen sized bed and shares a Jack N Jill bathroom with the fourth bedroom which has a full (double) bed.

The luxurious finished basement has a family room with large TV, wet bar, powder room, pool table, work out room with a treadmill, and a queen sized pullout sofa bed

The awesome backyard features an outdoor living area complete with a fireplace (firewood supplied by host) patio, hot tub, beautiful landscaping and is completely fenced in.

This house is beautiful inside and outside. It is very spacious with more than enough room for our family of six. All of the rooms were spotless. We loved spending time in the backyard. Although the weather was not very cooperative, we were able to spend time in the hot tub, use the grill for dinner and sit around the outdoor fire place. The basement also was enjoyable. We had alot of fun playing pool and ping pong. All in all, we had a great vacation here and we were very happy to spend our time in this wonderful house.

Our stay was amazing! The house is beautiful and spacious! The backyard is great! Plenty of room for yard games. The only con is that there were lots of flies, but we were able to manage with the fly swatters provided, and additional items that we purchased. However, we still had a great stay; the house was our favorite so far! John, the host, was very friendly and responsive.

A large home with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The owner was accommodating when we arrived a little early. The problems were with the preparedness of things before our arrival. We needed bedding for the basement sleep sofa and it was there,but not clean. We had to do laundry in order to be able to make the bed. The kitchen had very limited utensils for cooking. No scissors in the house. Kitchen faucet leaks and should be replaced. Oven and vent fan were dirty. No Kleenex anywhere in the house.There was a bank of wall light switches which were not properly installed. The hot tub was unclean and had to be drained and refilled before use. The pool table in the family room had two damaged pockets and couldn't be used. The lower level family room was infested with spiders and needs to be treated .In general cleanliness was not up to a standard warranted for the price I paid. It's a beautiful looking home,it just needs more attention to detail to make it a more welcoming and desirable rental.

Family Wedding

Our extended family from Fl rented this house for our granddaughter’s wedding in Elizabethtown. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The house accommodated all 11 of us perfectly. The house was so clean and warm. All the beds were comfy. We would not hesitate to rent this home again.

The first house I have been twice

I've rented dozens of houses for vacations, but this is the first time I've returned to the same one. My friends who joined me were also amazed by the beauty and convenience of the house. I doubt I'll find another place like this again while traveling for golf with these friends. John, the homeowner, was impressively quick to respond and incredibly kind.

Wonderful easter in amish paradise

Had a wonderful time with family easter weekend . Beautiful clean spacious house with plenty amenities . Nice kitchen and beautiful yard got a lot of nice pics and had a great time with family. 10 out of ten thanks alot will be back!!!

Gap home

The house was perfect for our family needs! The house was spacious for 4 adults and 4 older children. We stayed in Gap for 3 weeks to clean out my mother’s home in Elverson. It was only a 30 minute ride and the countryside was beautiful! The grandchildren enjoyed watching the Amish go by the house in their horse and buggies!We would stay here again but we would hope the owners got a new bed in the master bedroom because it was not usable and repaired the hot tub This is a beautiful home and quiet neighborhood. We were thrilled it was available for us. Thank you!

Exquisite Modern house in Amish country

Stayed at house with friends and kids. House is very spacious and has many rooms adults and kids; lots of space to spread out. Hot tub and outside space is perfect for families and basement was a great hangout for kids. Kitchen is perfect for cooking large meals and enjoying time with family and friends. Location was great to intercourse/Kitchen Kettle. The home owner, John, was great. We actually checked out and forgot phone in house; texted John and he quickly responded and remotely let us back in to retrieve our phone. He was very responsive throughout the process. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Great house!!

This is our 2nd stay at John’s place and we intend to continue making it an annual visit! It’s centrally located near many things to do in Lancaster County and close to conveniences as needed. The home is immaculately clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. We would recommend for those traveling as a family or with a group of friends. Large homes with lots of amenities

We were a group of four adults and four kids and there was definitely enough space for everyone to comfortably enjoy the house. Kids would play downstairs in the basement, while the adults enjoyed the expansive open concept kitchen/living room. Kids also enjoyed the hot tub on multiple days, parents enjoyed the fireplace and we also grilled one of the nights. Beds are extremely comfortable, too! Would stay here again!

Perfect Family Meetup

We recently stayed at a beautiful house in Gap, and it was the perfect retreat for our family of 11! The space was just right, providing us with the peace and quiet we needed to reconnect. The home itself was lovely, with all the amenities we could ask for. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the backyard fireplace, which made for cozy evenings together. The grill was a great addition for family cookouts! We were in town for the James Albright Memorial Golf Tournament at Moccasin Run Golf Course, and this house served as a fantastic gathering place for our family coming in from New Jersey and Ohio. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend!

Roomy custom home

Our group of 9 ladies enjoyed our stay at this home. It is in a quiet neighborhood with lots of backyard amenities. This is a custom built home with lots of upgrades. The open living space concept was great for a group and allowed for lots of conversation. We would definitely stay here again.

Three generation family trip

This was a wonderful home for our family vacation. Very clean, very well stocked. Lots of space both inside and out, for whole group activities, talking and eating. Also numerous spaces for small groups or alone space. Good communication with host during visit. Excellent WiFi, one person was working part of the time we were there. Backyard fenced but also trees blocking views of other properties - great for playing and also family photo session. Felt pleasantly secluded, but it wasn't.

Fantastic property in the heart of Amish country!

We loved the area and scenery. Close to Dutch Wonderland for our little ones. The home was perfect for our large family with the whole range of ages. The outdoor space was amazing and the host was very accommodating with our wanting to use a baby pool/slip n slide. A few minor maintenance issues, like loose toilet paper holder and a broken bed slat, but nothing that would keep us from coming back. Absolutely loved our stay! Thanks John!!
