"The staff was very friendly. The breakfasts were very tasty and had variety. However, the pool area was small, warm, humid with low ceilings that were moist and peeling from the lack of ventilation making it hard to sit in there. "The stay was unpleasant. The initial reception who checked us in was pretty short with us. We waited for 2hours to check in the room and we had had a long drive from out of town. No apologies no acknowledgment, all she said was your room is not ready and you picked a very specific room. we arrived around 3.20 pm and we didn’t get checked in until after 5 pm. People came in way after us and were checked in instantly but we waited for almost 2hours. The initial reception that received us...

"The property itself was a wonderful redo of an old building. The architecture with exposed brick and concrete beams added to the uniqueness of the property. The entire staff was amazing, helpful and always cheerful. We took advantage of their wonderful shuttle service to go to every event we were attending. I would highly recommend staying here!"

"Rooms were clean and modern. The breakfast was one of the best I have had for a free continental at a hotel. Having chicken strips, seasoned potato wedges, and chorizo patties were things I hadn't seen before and they were good! The pool inside is very small, so I wish there was an outdoor option as well but would be difficult at this property. Great location."

"I stay at this hotel every year for the Berkshire meeting. It's clean, predictable and the staff has always been great. Breakfast is not included so beware of that detail. There is a great breakfast place caddy-corner to the hotel called Lula-B's which has great options and prices. The downstairs restaurant in the hotel (Spencers) is fantastic. The gym is pretty good as far as hotel gyms go."

"The good news: the staff was responsive, friendly, thorough, and helpful. The bad news: The parking situation was bad. The road for the hotel was partially closed so getting to the parking garage while dragging luggage through downtown was a big pain. After managing traffic and closures from hotel to garage (15 minutes +), I had to walk a couple blocks, cross at a clearing, and walk back a couple of blocks with a heavy back-pack and suitcase.
