However, the pool area was small, warm, humid with low ceilings that were moist and peeling from the lack of ventilation making it hard to sit in there. "The property itself was a wonderful redo of an old building. The architecture with exposed brick and concrete beams added to the uniqueness of the property. The entire staff was amazing, helpful and always cheerful. We took advantage of their wonderful shuttle service to go to every event we were attending. I would highly recommend staying here!"

"My husband and I needed a room for the night as we traveled home after meeting our new grandbaby. We easily booked online through Expedia. The hotel was well located near the university. There were shops and dining readily available. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and had very helpful and welcoming staff. Our room was spacious, cozy, and quiet. The bed was so comfy that I ended up sleeping in until 9am!! Overall great experience!!"

The road for the hotel was partially closed so getting to the parking garage while dragging luggage through downtown was a big pain. After managing traffic and closures from hotel to garage (15 minutes +), I had to walk a couple blocks, cross at a clearing, and walk back a couple of blocks with a heavy back-pack and suitcase.
