"Beautiful people, great service, always smiling and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic, many options & happy to make changes. The room although upstairs had a great outlook, was quiet and comfortable, staff assisted with baggage.Hotel in a great location close to some fantastic restaurants, train, bus. "

"Jonathan welcomed us as we arrived. He gave us a full overview about the area, touring options and the house facilities. He was very considirate and we worked a breakfast that suited our kosher diet. The house is AMASING! huge bed, beutiful bathroom, everything is nicely decorated. We didn't come with a car so we used public transportation (Uber, train). It worked great."

"We found The Resident an ideal base for a few days exploring Liverpool. Friendly staff, clean room, and a great central location which is in easy walking distance from the whole city centre area. I expect we'll be back next time we visit the city!"

"Wonderful hotel, multitude of little extra touches that you just don’t get in other hotels nowadays. Simple check, gift of chocolate and a couple of drinks as it was our anniversary and all staff quick to help. Plenty of staff means no unnecessary waiting for drinks/food."

"Lovely hotel, having the restaurant at the hotel was a great addition. The rooms were nice and clean - lovely touch having the extra items in the mini fridge. The location was great for walking to the docks and into city centre. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you! "

"Booked for my daughters who were watching a concert at Anfield. Such a great service, calls prior to the day and on the day saying they could complete an earlier check in if needed. Greeted my daughters and explained everything clearly, they said Mel was simply lovely! A great clean room with a short walk to Anfield Stadium."

"We loved our stay here. Lyndsay was very responsive and personable. We had the double with the en-suite bathroom. It was clean and the bed comfortable. The snacks were a great touch. We traveled from the US for the Liverpool/Spurs match that sealed LFC as the Premier League champions! There were celebration spots close by and it was wonderful that the Liverpool players’ bus passes close to the home on Anfield Road. We were right in the middle of everything. Loved it. Go LFC!!!❤️"
