"I’d stay here again even if I had no particular business in Folkestone. The hotel is very homey and with the renovation it is extra comfy. The staff were very professional and kind. Breakfast was of very good quality, with great variety and always at the right temperature, organized and clean. My only problem was with the wifi in the room. It is a deal-breaker for me because of work but they said they are looking to fix it so I hope they do for future better stays."

"Nice room, simple and cosy. Only issue is the windows are thin and you can hear people talk on the street. The door to the balcony did not feel fully secure as there was no proper lock on it, just a steel chord. Really enjoyed the stay though! Good price for a view of the ocean with a cute balcony."

"Hotel was conveniently located for what we wanted, however shower was damaged and rusty in areas with pubes in the shower tray , damp patch on the bedroom wall "

"Whilst the Grand has seen better times, the price reflected this factor. The greeting was warm and friendly. My room was upgraded to a double which was very clean. All in all a good stop overnight for my onward journey."
