"These pods were super cute and very clean. The heating in it was fantastic and kept us warm on a very cold and wet night. We were provided with the and coffee making facilities and a bag of marshmallows to toast by the fire. Kids really enjoyed it. We could also hear and sometimes see the lions nearby. "

"Perfect place to stop over prior to ferry or Chunnel crossing. Not too far to walk into town although it’s uphill all the way back. Friendly staff and very welcoming."

"Es familiar, el dueño muy amable, es tranquilo , la habitación muy amplia con 3 camas con mucha luz y muy céntrico pero tranquilo ya que hay una calle que separa la zona de turismo. El autobús está a 2 minutos y la catedral y los comercios y restaurantes. Todo perfecto, no hay ascensor pero disponen de habitación en la planta baja.Se puede desayunar y hay café y te , galletas en la habitación. El baño grande y limpio. Pudimos dejar las maletas hasta que salió nuestro autobús, por lo que...

"Stayed for 2 nights on Sat & Sun 6-8th December. We were greeted with a very busy pub but extremely attentive staff who could not do enough to make us feel welcome. The room was well furnished with a retro vibe. If I am being over critical, I would say that the carpet in the room could do with a clean and the bathroom needs a bit of an upgrade. "Comfortable, clean accommodation, great breakfast and a welcoming host. Car parking and being within walking distance of the city are real plus points."

"We booked a couple of rooms for a family wedding at a venue close by. Overall, it was excellent value for money and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Rooms were lovely and quiet and the breakfast was great. Very happy. "

"Staff were absolutely incredible. Dianna on reception was courteous, polite and ever so helpful. Thank you for making me feel like home during my stay. Dianna and her amazing team even helped out by washing and drying some clothing. Mid way through my work trip it was as a relief to know I had clean business and personal clothing. The young bar staff were also very kind and welcoming. "

"A great 4 night stay. We ate at the hotel each evening, something different each night from the great menu. Mostly chosen for the surrounding area and despite a rather dire weather forecast we were out and about most days, and the spa and pool filled in one afternoon. Thanks to all the team for a great stay, we’ll miss the seats by the fire in the bar."
