"First the owners were very responsive in answering some questions we had before booking, and in making us feel welcomed. The location was convenient to get into TC or anywhere on the peninsula. The home looks just like in the pictures and is very tidy. Cozy living room, comfortable beds, clean kitchen and bathrooms, plenty of seating areas inside and out. Grandma’s home was perfect for our group of six. We had a fantastic stay!"

The home itself was awesome and cozy, the area was quiet which was enjoyable, the drive to Traverse City wasn’t bad at all if you’re looking for more to do. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to make our own meals, and the Fire Lake Inn food was very delicious for eating out of the home. "The view of the lake was so relaxing. The Cabin is definitely old. But it could have been cleaner. There were spider webs inside by the fireplace, dust and dirt under the furniture. And on the small porch the table and chairs were dirty as was the grill. Also when the 1st person would take a shower they ran out of hot water so the next person had to wait for it to regenerate. But we stayed there to be right on the lake and it was only for 3 nights so we managed. The land was great just the cabin...

"Great piece of property. We loved our stay and everything was very nice. Size, space and location were perfect. Just a few housekeeping notes. The appliances need fixing. The door on the stove does not stay closed. Someone must have stood or sat on the door. So sad when people don't respect other people's property. You are not able to use the oven without holding the door shut the whole time. The Refrigerator and freezer doors refuse to stay closed, resulting in the compressor running constantly...

"We enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean, and the place was well stocked. It is a great location. You can easily walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Parking was the only tricky part, but once we figured that out (we just parked in the garage down the street), we were good to go. 🙂"
