The cabin sleeps 7 with a king suite, queen bedroom, and trundle bunk room, each with its own Roku TV. Gather in the family room for games or TV, or cook up a favorite meal in the well-equipped kitchen featuring modern appliances and a propane grill. Enjoy dining indoors or out on the East-facing porch with seating for four.

The West-facing covered porch is ideal for sunsets, reading, wildlife watching, and stargazing—plus it’s where the hot tub invites total relaxation. Whether you're seeking serenity, connection, or a little bit of adventure, Changes in Altitude offers it all in a charming mountain setting.

This home is located in the laid-back 4,000-acre, Leatherwood Mountain Resort in Ferguson, NC. Our guests are invited to enjoy our Horseback Riding program where you can experience the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains’ pristine wilderness by Horseback (reservation required). You will have access to miles of hiking trails, mountain streams, stocked fishing pond, a community swimming pool, a playground, tennis and pickleball courts, creek tubing (seasonal), and an on-site restaurant with active live music & event calendar (guest advised to check hours when planning meals).

Our neighborhood is very safe and our property is secluded. For added peace of mind, there are security cameras by the gated entrance and common areas. Individual properties may also have cameras on the EXTERIOR of homes. Please be assured they are not directed at private areas, hot tub, porches, etc.
