"Our family (3 girls-11, 9, and 3) loved our stay here. The authentic cave house experience with the sweeping views and plunge pool were great. We walked to Pyrgos from the house as well as enjoyed a couple lovely meals locally at Mexitaxi Mas. "You will need a car to access the property and get around the island but the house is perfect for a family and is a wonderful comfortable and cool haven from the madness of the touristy parts of Santorini"

"We were a family of 11 staying at the Afoura property. It is a unique property with 5 separate living areas, lovely out door spaces, and beautiful views. Since it is located away from the Santorini sites in a residential area, it was necessary to have cars for transportation. The site is on a steep hill so challenging for our cars to get up there. Nonetheless all our group loved the setting and the very unusual layout of the property."

Has all the comforts you need and excellent communication from host, a lot of 'Extras' not mentioned on website, show gel, body lotion, dry food items and welcome water / Beer & Wine. BBQ onsite with Charcoal, no immediate Grocery nearby so book a stop using the Airport Shuttle. Car might be worth looking at as pretty much all taxi fares were roughly €30 - €40 depending where.
