"This is a lovely little hotel about 5min walk from the train station and 1 min from the epic Roman Remains, pedestrianised shopping/eating area. The location was perfect and the lady at Reception was lovely, very helpful and knowledgeable about Trier. We both slept well on the comfortable beds. The shower room was great, good water pressure. This is a good old fashioned hotel - there is no WiFi in the rooms but there is in the lobby. (But there is a telephone and landline in the room!!)"

"Sowieso ligt het hotel binnen de " oude " stadsgrensen op steenworp afstand van de Porta Nigra. Parkeerplaats op plm 150 mtr van het hotel en op 30 meter, lopend, toegang tot het centrum met de vele restaurants en winkels en de looproute langs de bezienswaardigheden. Hotel heeft een leuke bar en terras en ontbijtzaal. Personeel is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kortom, een superhotel op de juiste plaats met de karakteristiek van het oude Trier."

"We got the Jr. Suite - it had lots of space, but it was fairly dirty (floor covered in dust and cups were sticky). "This is a delightful, reasonably priced, and newly refurbished small hotel with heart. Breakfast was solid and fairly priced, and the dining room is especially fresh and pleasant after the renovations. The staff were accommodating and helped us to arrange a taxi to the train station, which arrived promptly.
