"Sehr schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage mit allem was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Es liegt an einem steilen Berg auf 1.200m Höhe, empfiehlt sich also zum Akklimatisieren zu Beginn oder auch wieder am Ende einer Tour durch Costa Rica. Die Anfahrt lässt sich auch ohne Allrad bewerkstelligen, ist aber etwas steil. Dafür entschädigt die Aussicht. Das Team das sich um das Haus kümmert ist auch sonst immer ansprechbar und hilfsbereit, großes Lob und Empfehlung!"

"Property is as described. It's dated but well cared for. The caretaker is great. PLEASE note. Last few kilometers of road are not paved...we had 4x4's was fine. Closest supermarket is a 40 minute - hour drive. Beach isn't the best for swimming but totally remote and private. We loved this place. "

"This property was built exactly as the pictures show. You can hear the ocean waves with the doors and windows closed. There is an A/C wall unit in each room and not in the open living space. The breeze blows through the house well with the windows open. This is how it was when I arrived. The waves and breeze, just beautiful. "We enjoyed staying at Casa Mango. True to it's name, there are mangos hanging off the big tree ready to eat or as we did, make mango margaritas! Josh is an excellent host and his girlfriend, Mariela, is an great cook. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast (gallo pinto/eggs), fab dinner (Arroz con Pollo) and the best pina coladas ever! The river/estuary views are every changing with the tides. Overall, it's a hidden paradise in a typical Costa Rican neighborhood."

"BUYER BEWARE No hot water and beach is dirty. I contacted Vacasa before confirming reservation to verify had hot water due to previous review. I was told I would have hot water but never did. The pool water was warmer than the shower. The company was notified as soon as we knew there was no hot water. Beach is very dirty due to ships waiting to get into port and dumping garbage while waiting. We did see monkeys and birds which were beautiful. Sorry for the bad review I tried to work with you."

"The house was gorgeous and was exactly what was reported. The pool was incredible and the views were spectacular! The place was secluded which gave us opportunity to see and hear the birds, monkeys and frogs. The only downside is the 3.5mile gravel road to get there. It was rough and took us about 20 minutes to get to it once we left the main road. "

"This house is absolutely gorgeous and beautiful. My family and I enjoyed ourselves immensely. Julio was amazing and very helpful. The dogs were friendly. The only suggestion I have is to have an automatic gate that would help a lot, but overall I recommend a 1000 percent!"

"We can't say enough about our great stay in Grace & Ivan's Casita! Their home is in a quiet, peaceful, gorgeous location. All amenities needed are already in the home, beautiful pool & comfortable king size bed. Both Grace and Ivan went above and beyond and also helped us with our car repair problems-THANK YOU so much again! We take away from this nice stay a bonus of having two additional great people we call friends, Always Pamela and Josef"
