"Room was opposite lift so it was sooooo loud throughout the night."

"Friendly, welcoming staff on check in. Room was a good size. Breakfast served from 4am but limited food on display, no hot food available. If you're getting dropped off by car, the reception will validate the ticket so you are not charged."

"Outstanding! Beautiful building, super comfortable room, super friendly and helpful host, convenient location. I was upgraded to the 2nd floor family suite with beautiful Gothic stained glass windows and a tower! Great experience, highly recommended."

"Booked this hotel for its location and being able to bring my dog. Room was clean and spacious. Good selection of food available."

"Excellent stay at The Stuart Hotel and a special mention about Kartar Singh who made me feel at ease and so helpful with every little thing that had a concern for. He needs a special recognition and well deserved. Thank you"

"The rooms was amazing. Staff so nice and respectful. Kitchen and living room fantastic"

"I found it deeply disturbing that some guests were permitted to sit in the foyer, lounge and breakfast room in their pyjamas and moreover, to discover that this practice is acceptable with Mercure St Helens, Merseyside. All of which made our stay an uncomfortable one."

"This hotel is a little hard to find. Parking is limited. This is an older character property so don’t book if you’re expecting an upper end property. Easy access to downtown Liverpool by bus, the stop is right out the front door. Breakfast was good. Beds are a little soft."

"Overall the hotel was comfortable and clean, staff were helpful and the pool was a lovely place to go - the temperature was lovely! However, the hotel does need a bit of a TLC. Loose pipes in the shower area of the pool. The rooms would really benefit from a mini fridge and the furnishings and decor is a bit tired. We had a leaky pipe under the sink that would drop water on to the bathroom floor and make it slippery. The beds were comfortable and the Superior Room had heaps of space with 2...

"Hotel and staff were great , food at breakfast and dinner were great , good size portions, although we were charged different prices from what was on the dinner menus , only downside was the reception was at the bar , I think it should be separate , if the bar is busy ( which it was ) as we arrived early Saturday evening you need to wait , but overall everything was great"

"Clean, helpful friendly staff. Secure free car park behind automatic gates If you want to discuss anything with staff before arriving I recommend you call and speak with them as the online messaging app did not seem to work. I could not work out how to turn off the radiator overnight so got a bit overheated. The en-suite is a shower with a screen and a sink directly in the room, but there were clean shared showers with a lockable door. One nice surprise was shared kitchen facilities with a...

"Lovely room, staff very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious."

"The cooked breakfast on the Sunday morning was very slow to arrive, this was the case for everyone else too. Hotel currently having some refurb work taking place however this hotel looks like it need major cash investment into it. Room was clean bathroom looks like it still needs work to it."

"Nice"

"Clean comfortable room, good choice for breakfast."
