Our stay was great as expected. What I really liked about this property versus others I have stayed at around the country was that it had all the extra things there, trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry soap, shout, dry sheets, dish soap, sponges, etc. We could just show up and start enjoying vacation. Thank you for that.
The location is right in the center of it all but you feel tucked away and peaceful with the convenient circle drive for coming and going. We mostly just slept here and went to our family’s cabin on the lake during the day. We slept well in the beds at night, our 8 year old enjoyed watching TV in the basement early in the morning while we slept in. However, there was no playpen or crib for our 1 yr old to sleep. No high chair, no bathtub.
The interior furniture is dated and feels like a time capsule many places except the full bathroom. For a place that sleeps 10, I’m thankful we only had 5. One shower for 10 people…the water wouldn’t stay warm for the first shower of the day. There are two toilets but the one is in a half bathroom and it’s tight in there for most adults.
The living room furniture recliners and glider are very narrow. Average Americans these days would fit snuggly in these seats. The sectional was fine for us though. The TVs were all very nice. We really appreciated having one of the bedrooms without a TV for our son.
