"Place was gorgeous, modern, convenient, clean. Though listed as for 4 people, it was a bit awkward for 4 people: bathroom en suite to one room, so those on beds (pull-outs) in front room had to walk through the other room to the bathroom. And because light switches for bathroom are outside, anyone sleeping gets light in their eyes until the door is closed. And using the kitchenette was disturbing to those sleeping in front room. Would have liked a full size coffee maker as the nespresso...

My main reservation is the very tight space the room itself (Walker) and the washroom. This was small even for European standards and I expected a bit more space for the price point."

"Very well located, spacious and well kept. Unfortunately they put us in a room right at the entrance of their second building in our first night. Our bed was right in front of the main door, so anyone could see us and we could hear every one that was coming in + the cleaning team at 6am next morning. Also the air conditioning was not working. Next day they moved us to a far better room that I believe should better reflect their standards. Make sure you don’t get that 1st family room!"

"Mixed feelings overall. The block was in easy quick reach to Haymarket train station and only a 20-25 min walk to the centre of Edinburgh so location was great. Hiwever, the reception is not in the main apartment block. Its around a 100 meters further up the road. So after a long train journey and in wet weather a further travel up and down the road for check in grated a little for me but check in itself was OK. "The location is fab and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are big and clean and well furbished with everything you need from hairdryer to dishwasher and washing machine. The breakfast though was most disappointing (small selection of - apart from the fruit - only sweet and sugared items). I recommend going to one of the little cafes nearby where you get more for your money."
