We were exhausted after the walk from the train station and they helped us get settled and take our bags so we could settle for a bit and then sight see till our room was ready. "Friendly staff and a lovely apartment in a great location (especially for the grassmarket). However there were a couple of issues with maintenance, broken blind in living area so couldn't open or close blind (ground floor), no light bulb in only lamp in lounge, no washing up liquid and broken bin in bathroom. Its a shame as overall the apartments were clean and decorated beautifully so hope they don't let poor maintenance ruin the standard. Biggest issue however was there was no hot for my son...

"An incredibly good experience. The hotel is new and as a result the whole stay felt very put together and comfortable. The staff are friendly & attentive, comfy beds, a great shower. Easy to access all areas. Very happy with the whole stay. "

"This apartment was a dream. After coming from an expensive hotel in London that we had some issues with, it was such a relief to have a cozy place where all of the amenities are tested and in working order before guest arrival. It was such a nice building and put us right in the city center, in the middle of everything we wanted to do. We will definitely be back at some point in the future. Might even check out one of their other buildings too. "

"Actually, we were not able to stay. I did climb the 30 steps to get to the apartment, and it was a very nice place. 40 years ago, it would have been suitable for my wife and I. It would be better suited to younger travelers since all bags have to be carried up the steps. However, I cannot fault the owners because I did not pay close enough attention to the description"
