"I highly recommend this hotel, especially as a first timer like myself. My room was spacious, and very comfortable throughout the evening. The hotel is tucked in a little bit, away from the Main Street (Thapae), but walkable to everything East and West. Noot (front desk) and the entire staff were very accommodating. Noot specifically went far and beyond, offering various activities for me daily and speaks very good English, too. I look forward to staying here again. "

"We loved our stay at the Pingviman Hotel in the old town area of Chiang Mai. This was the first hotel we stayed in and it was a beautiful, smaller, boutique style hotel with traditional Thai elements with lots of wood and antique furniture. It was about a 15-20 minute walk to the main area with all the restaurants but we love walking so that was perfect for us. We loved the staff. "This hotel has exceeded my expectations, very good! Pictures didn't do it justice, it is actually very well maintained. Friendly and polite staff, room is big enough, affordable price. Gym of course is small, as well as the swimming pool, in which we didn't use both. Very clean and tidy room on arrival, allowed us to check-in earlier. One downside is, the air conditioner dripped a lot when we turned the temperature up from 16 to 20 degrees celsius one time."

The hotel is spotlessly clean and our rooms were cleaned every morning and fresh towels provided. There is an extensive breakfast buffet available between 7 and 10. "99 the Heritage is a beautiful and peaceful retreat in the middle of Chiang Mai’s Old City, directly across from Wat Phra Singh. Lovely rooms. The staff is courteous and very welcoming. We very much enjoyed our stay. The staff went above and beyond when my daughter left something important to her in the room and they arranged to send it on to our next hotel. Highly recommend. "
